We may only be a month into Grey’s Anatomy’s triumphant return for season 10, but creator Shonda Rhimes and her team of writers have to think ahead — so far ahead that they’re already working on the finale for the first half of the season!
On Wednesday, Grey’s writer Tony Tphelan tweeted, “The Writers’ Room grapples with Episode 12-the end of season 10A. How many cliff hangers can you cram into forty-two minutes of television?”
Knowing that team of writers more commonly known as sadists who toy with our emotions, we’d have to say at least thirty.
Earlier this week, Camilla Luddington (Jo Wilson) tweeted that the cast is working on filming episode nine, which means filming for episode 12 isn’t too far down the road. And guess what that means for us? Spoilers coming our way — and soon!
And at this point, the many cliffhangers the writers are planning for us could truly be anything. There are so many storylines happening that could still be left open by the time we reach episode 12. Could it have to do with the return of Alex’s dad, Cristina and Meredith’s impending friendship break-up, or Callie and Arizona’s relationship? Hopefully, more info comes our way soon!
What do you think the cliffhangers will be at the end of the first half of season 10? Let us know what you think below!
