“Grey’s Anatomy” is bringing big drama to ABC for the mid-season finale, and now fans are being given some new scoop on the big episode. On Saturday, Nov. 23, Spoiler TV shared a photo from the set of the series, and it shows off the church for April and Matthew’s wedding. The site also shared some teasers from the cast about the big episode. The mid-season finale is “Grey’s Anatomy” episode 10.12 titled “Get Up, Stand Up.”
The cast of this ABC series has been filming the mid-season finale in recent days, and it is promising to be a huge episode. Jessica Capshaw, Jesse Williams, and Jerrika Hinton all went to their Twitter to tease the filming of the mid-season finale. Hinton said that she was filming a scene that fans would want to watch over and over again. Jesse Williams offered his own tease for the episode, and Capshaw teased the beautiful location the cast was filming in. As for Ellen Pompeo, she shared a photo of a horse on her Instagram.
Wetpaint Entertainment also shared a tweet from Jason George that revealed his is involved in the filming of the mid-season finale as well. He is the man behind Ben on this series, and Ben and Bailey are in the middle of a rough patch.
Looking at the tweets and the set photos, Jerrika Hinton and Jesse Williams were not going to attend April’s wedding to Matthew. Williams stars as Avery on the series, and he thought him attending April’s wedding would be awkward. Could Hinton be teasing a showdown between April and Stephanie? Or will it be Stephanie and Jackson that finally have it out over April? Fans will have to tune in to find out if April makes it down the aisle.
“Grey’s Anatomy” will continue to air on ABC on Thursday nights.
Uh oh — Grey’s Anatomy star Kevin McKidd (Owen Hunt) is down for the count! While playing tennis alongside tennis great Chris Evert in a charity event, the 2013 Chris Evert Pro-Celebrity Tennis Classic, on Sunday, Kevin injured his right calf muscle. Ouch!
In case you’re not a huge sport-a-holic, you might be wondering who Chris Evert is. To catch you up to speed, Chris is a crazy huge star in the tennis world — in fact, she used to be the number one player in the world. Whoa!
All was going well for Kevin — have you seen the yummy breakfast they fed these people at the event? — until his game, when he got hurt while playing with Chris against Elizabeth Shue and pro tennis player Mats Wilander. But no harm, no foul (or whatever sports metaphor is appropriate here… anyone? Anyone?), because Chris and Kevin still won the match, and according to Kevin, he had a great time.
“Had a blast @ChrissieEvert tennis event today,” Kevin tweeted. “So psyched to play with her, Mats Wilander, and Elizabeth Shue. #goodtimes.”
“You played awesome,” Chris tweeted in reply. “Big serves, dealt with the pressure like a pro, volleyed like a demon, and held your partner up!!!”
And if you’re worried about Kevin’s injury, we’re assuming all is well — he was back up and at ‘em tonight, headed off in his formal wear to tonight’s events at the classic. He cleans up pretty good, don’t you think?
And just in case Kevin’s more hurt than he’s letting on, we know a killer orthopedic surgeon. Maybe he should stick to being the chief of surgery from now on?
